JustSystems Expands Partner Program in North America and Europe

Company Announces New Options for Systems Integrators and Software Vendors with Expertise in Authoring, Publishing and Content Management

NEW YORK — May 28, 2008 — JustSystems, the largest independent software vendor in Japan and a worldwide leader in XML and information management technologies, today announced an expanded focus on recruitment of value-added partners as a cornerstone of its continued growth strategy in North America and Europe. JustSystems will focus primarily on systems integrators and software vendors with expertise in structured authoring, dynamic publishing and other areas of content and document management. Each of these partnerships falls under one of the following categories:

  • Alliance Partners – which are typically large, global vendors and services firms
  • Solution Partners – which focus on integrated technical and business solutions
  • Service Partners – which provide strategy, design, implementation and training support

In support of this strategy, JustSystems has formalized three new participation levels:

  • Associate – for organizations that wish to engage with a limited initial commitment and require basic support for ad hoc joint selling activity
  • Authorized –for organizations that wish to grow and profit from a more formalized and predictable business based on the sale or implementation of JustSystems products
  • Premier –for organizations that wish to build a technology and/or solutions practice focusing on JustSystems products

These new options provide Solution and Service Partners increased flexibility and graduated sales, marketing and technical benefits. In exchange for increased commitments to JustSystems, partners receive product discounting, marketing and demand creation opportunities, as well as sales and technical support.

The JustSystems Partner Program focuses on both systems integration and software organizations that have products and services which strongly complement JustSystems’ XMetaL and xfy product lines.

XMetaL is a market-leading structured authoring application that allows organizations to dramatically improve the quality and consistency of product and technical documentation, policies, procedures and other published content, while improving reuse and reducing the time and cost of content creation, localization and maintenance. xfy (pronounced 'x-fye') is a document-centric composite application framework that allows organizations to bring together distributed and disparate information into a single dynamic document that provides information that is always up to date and delivered in context.

The dynamic document is a key part of JustSystems’ vision for blurring the line between traditional documents, which provide rich context, persistence and portability; and business applications, which, provide live data and an interactive user experience. The result is a dynamic document that comes to life with diverse and distributed information sources that are always up to date.
