JustSystems, Scriptorium Publishing Continue DITA Open Toolkit Education

Webinar Provides Lessons for Customization and Creating Complex DITA OT Output

NEW YORK and VANCOUVER — September 22, 2008 — The DITA Open Toolkit (DITA OT) is an implementation of the OASIS DITA Technical Committee's specification for DITA document type definitions and schemas. The Toolkit includes components that are designed to be customized for HTML and PDF output. The goal of the DITA Open Toolkit is to provide a high quality implementation for production-level output of DITA XML content.

Building on last month’s webinar that provided an overview of the DITA OT and the tight integration JustSystems’ XMetaL structured authoring application created for it, an upcoming JustSystems and Scriptorium Publishing webinar will explain how to customize the output from the DITA OT. Attendees will also learn how to read and understand toolkit components that create much more complex output.
