JustSystems, Scriptorium Publishing Introduce Users to DITA Open Toolkit

Webinar Shows How Toolkit Transforms DITA Content into Deliverable Formats

NEW YORK — August 20, 2008 — The DITA Open Toolkit is an implementation of the OASIS DITA Technical Committee's specification for DITA document type definitions and schemas. The Toolkit transforms DITA content into deliverable formats. The goal of the DITA Open Toolkit is to provide a high quality implementation for production-level output of DITA XML content, built in a professionally-managed project environment by vetted contributors, and tested thoroughly for each Release Candidate.

In an upcoming webinar, JustSystems and Scriptorium Publishing will provide an overview of the DITA Open Toolkit, giving attendees a better understanding of the Toolkit, how to use it, and how it works. Attendees will also learn:

  • the components in the Toolkit and their function,
  • how to install and run the Toolkit, and
  • how the Toolkit relates to JustSystems’ XMetaL structured authoring application.
