Steve Huber, Senior VP of Sales, North America and EMEA
Steve Huber is responsible for field operations including sales, consulting and channel partnerships for JustSystems in North America and EMEA. He also has global responsibility for sales of JustSystems XMetaL product portfolio. Mr. Huber brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise software sales, management and operational execution. Steve was responsible for creating dramatic sales growth in early stage companies such as Holistic Systems, which was acquired by Seagate Software, where he subsequently ran Corporate Sales for the Americas. He was a co-founder of ebi Solutions which was sold to Gentia Software PLC. Following the acquisition, he assumed responsibility of Vice President, Americas Operations for ThinkAnalytics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gentia. He then executed a restructuring of Eastern Operations at Vitria, and built a vertical market sales infrastructure to gain entry into the financial services, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and communications industries. As Vice President and General Manager of Conversion Services International, Steve executed a reverse merger to take the company public and facilitated a series of acquisitions, including Evoke Software, for which he assumed responsibility as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations. Steve joined JustSystems following his tenure at MarkMonitor, an early stage company in the anti-fraud, anti-counterfeit and intellectual property protection space, where he built an enterprise sales and support organization. |
Jake Sorofman, Senior VP of Marketing and Business Development, North America and EMEA
Jake Sorofman is a seasoned software marketing executive with a strong product strategy and communications background. Previously, he was VP of product marketing with Mercury Interactive (now part of HP Software), where he was responsible for the Systinet product line. He joined Mercury though Mercury's $105 million acquisition of Systinet Corporation. Before Mercury, Jake led marketing for two WebSphere products at IBM Software Group, which he joined through the 12/04 acquisition of Venetica. Prior to Venetica, Jake was director of product marketing with Documentum, Inc. (now part of EMC), which he joined through the acquisition of eRoom Technology. Jake also has extensive experience in public and analyst relations, having led corporate communications for Ironside Technologies (now part of Infor). Jake has a BA in english and political science from University of New Hampshire and an MBA from the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley College, where he was an American Marketing Association George Hay Brown Scholar.

Paul Wlodarczyk, VP of Solutions Consulting, North America
Paul helps JustSystems clients “compete
through better information management.” With more than 20 years of specialized experience in enterprise content management and knowledge management, he leads and supports engagements that require analysis and improvement of content lifecycles – workflows that span the creation, review, localization, publishing, reuse, management, analysis, and visualization of business content. Prior to JustSystems, Paul spent more than 18 years at Xerox in Rochester, NY, as a Service Line Manager for a content lifecycle consultancy with Xerox Global Services, and in various operations roles in knowledge management, technical publishing, localization, and software engineering. |
John Robb, VP Operations
John Robb is responsible for management and oversight of accounting and finance, legal, HR, IT operations and administration. Originally a scientist with a significant publication record, John has spent the last 12 years working in start-up companies in both the leisure industry and high tech. Prior to returning to a back-office life within JustSystems in September 2006, John was VP Customer Support & Services at Maximizer Software, where he was responsible for all customer support, professional services and global account activities. During this time, John led four-fold revenue growth within his organization. John has a BSc in Marine Biology, an MSc in Environmental Technology, and an MBA from the University of British Columbia. |
Bruce Sharpe, Founding Technologist, XMetaL
Dr. Bruce Sharpe brings over 23 years of technology leadership experience to JustSystems, including founding XMetaL and HoTMetaL content creation solutions. He held senior technical management positions at MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates, Advanced Gravis, SoftQuad Software, Corel, and Blast Radius before successfully bringing XMetaL to JustSystems. In addition to providing expertise to help shape HTML and XML standards, Bruce’s contributions to software development have ranged over domains as diverse as satellite image processing, PC entertainment peripherals, and multimedia production tools for podcasting.
Bruce holds a Ph.D. in the area of mathematical physics from the University of British Columbia.
