xfy View Designer

xfy View Designer consists of the following:

  • XML Schema Definition Function
  • Display/Edit View Designer
  • View Control Part Set
  • View Template Part Set

Key Capabilities - xfy View Designer

GUI-Based XML Schema Definition
XML schemas can be graphically defined using a Graphical User Interface - enabling efficient creation of not only the structured XML documents themselves, but also schema definitions for all XML vocabularies.

Graphical Creation of XML Data Entry / Display Screens
Used for additions and changes to a vocabulary, this tool enables you to create a display/editing view for individual vocabularies through the combination of GUI elements. Views developed within this tool can be used in xfy Basic Edition as vocabulary components for displaying and editing compound XML documents.

Graphical Display and Edit Parts
Graphical components (such as SVG, charts) not available in the existing XML Form creation tools are provided. By combining these parts, the optimal View for any individual vocabulary can be constructed. Where compound documents constructed with multiple vocabularies are created, displayed and edited by xfy Basic Edition, views switch seamlessly in context, allowing simple manipulation of even complex compound documents.*
