The xfy Query Generator works with xfy Vocabulary Management, built into the xfy Server. Vocabulary Management is an XML vocabulary index, which allows applications to extract information reliably without requiring users to be familiar with differences between XML schemas in XML databases. This is possible because xfy Vocabulary Management manages and shares the semantic relationships between XML tags, using XML Vocabulary Connection Descriptor (XVCD). XVCD makes previously difficult cross-database searches simple and accurate.
